The Darker Tones
I love the dark tones of black and white imagery. It is where we can work with the mystery and uncertainty and provide something that the viewer must supply from their own imagination.

The Pose
I have been studying the basic simple pose in these images. I start with an idea and try to convey it to the model without being too specific because as the model moves and begins to discover the pose I may see something that is exciting and so my method is a way to get things to happen and the work involves seeing what is beautiful and being cognizant and skilled enough to capture it.

Work
Everyone of my images has a great deal of Photoshop editing and I use many adjustment layers to achieve the look. I try to make the editing appear realistic, but I am willing to bend reality if it will make the image work for me. I am always looking at the structure of the body as I edit. My work is an evolution of understanding and study. There is so much to learn and so little time.
